PikaCert Step-by-Step Guide

What is PikaCert

PikaCert is an online diploma/certificate distribution platform. Saves time printing and distributing hard copies. Send them a link to download and print as desired.

Upload the background image of the diploma, then upload an Excel file with the recipients’ data (name, achievement, age, etc). Then on the drag-and-drop screen, place each date point on the background image you already uploaded. Check Preview to see that you like the results. Then, distribute the URL (a web link) to the recipients via chat group, email, or put it on your website or social media page. Recipients view and download the diploma to print. Or nowsdays, screen-cap and share their achievement on social media.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to PikaCert site www.PikaCert.com .Currently in English and Chinese interface, but you can enter any language you like in the diploma generated.
  2. Click Free Trial

3. Sign up for a free account. No credit card required. Just your email address for you to reuse your projects in the future.

Note that the Organization Name will be displayed when end-users download their diplomas/certificates. Organization Name cannot be change once an account is created. So make sure you typed it correctly.

4. Create a New Project

Now create a new project (a new certificate or diploma). A unique URL will be generated when you are done. Create a new project for each diploma. If you have 2 similar diplomas with slightly different data set, you should create 2 diplomas with 2 different Excel files for the data.

Now enter a project name.

5. Upload the Diploma background image

A few very simple designs are there for you to choose. If you haven’t got your design yet, just choose one to try.

For this guide, I just chose the Butterfly design. Click Next at the bottom-right for the next step.

6. Prepare data in Excel (or Google Sheet)

The data structure is just a simple list in Excel. To save time, just click “Download sample Excel file”. Enter you own data to suit. See quick video below:

Quick tip: do not add empty rows and columns above and left of the data list. And do not “merge” cells in Excel, to make sure your data is imported correctly.

Now, save your Excel data file, and get ready to layout your diploma.

7. Layout data on Diploma Backgound

Now upload the Excel file you have just prepared. Remember to enter the correct “sheet” name

Paste sheet name and then click Save

Click Save, then you can do the layout.

Now your Excel data is in the system. If you failed to upload, it is likely that you have inserted blank rows above your data, or blank columns left of your data list in Excel.

8. Now click the Publish button:

And you can share the URL to the recipients or on Social Media. Or use the code to embed into your website:
